According to the decision of the University Board no. 1/720/11.01.2022, Art. I, par. 11 the University has decided:
– to extend the deadline for the enrollment until 14 January 2022 for first-year students outside the European Union, the EEA and the Swiss Confederation, who have received a Letter of Acceptance issued by the Romanian Ministry of Education.  This is an exceptional measure and applies exclusively to students outside the European Union, the EEA and the Swiss Confederation.

 LANGUAGE TEST

The online language examination scheduled for the 23rd of December will start at 10 a.m. (Romania time).

Candidates have to access the link for the ENGLISH Language test and log in by entering the following

  • First name
  • Surname
  • The number of their online application form (received by e-mail after having submitted the application form).

First-year students from countries outside the European Union can enroll only after they have made an appointment with the international students office of the International Vice-Rectorate. In order to make an appointment, please send an e-mail to international@umft.ro

According to the decision of the Romanian Government, No. 883/19.08.2021, the number of places for citizens outside the EU, the EEA and the CH was expanded to 20 places for the study program – Medicine in English. The new number of available places is now 21 for Medicine in English. 
Based on the admission methodology, the following pre-registration period 30 August 2021 – 3 September 2021 – is open for the second competitive entrance exam session. Candidates may apply in the same conditions and with the same admission committee as in July.

‼️ TO THE ATTENTION OF ALL CANDIDATES

According to Chapter III. 2. In our Admission requirements, “The available places/faculties/study programmes, established in the Board meeting of 19 January 2021, as well as the provisional tuition fees for the next academic year, can be found in the table below. These figures are provisional as they can undergo changes depending on subsequent dispositions from the Ministry of Education and Research and on subsequent decisions of the University Board”.

We would like to inform our candidates that the University has applied for more places, as specified in our Admission requirements for 2021, to the higher responsible organisms and we hope to receive their approval until the entrance exam organized on 29 July 2021, both for European and non-European candidates.

If the University does not receive approval for the higher number of places for the English-language programme of the Faculty of Medicine until the date of the entrance exam (29 July 2021), candidates will compete for the old number of places available last year (2020-2021), as shown in the table below:
